Somewhere around 1992 Michael invested his money with
the owners of an auto body shop and began working as shop
manager. During this period of time Mike was training
at a gym in Providence and running seven miles a day.
Mike fought in a few professional boxing matches
and in 1995 he fought in the Tough Man contest in Florida
advancing into the 2nd round of the finals.
Michael moved to Las Vegas in 1994. Here he worked as a doorman
at different clubs and as a personal trainer at the gym. He
drove to Los Angeles on a regular basis, scouting and auditioning
for acting and modeling work.

His acting jobs included
more than a dozen small parts in television and film including
his first speaking part in the Whoopi Goldberg and John Depardieu
film "Bogus".
While at work at a club in Las Vegas, Michael was ambushed
and attacked by another employee. Michael filed a lawsuit
against both the club's owner and employee. Eight months
later he moved home to Rhode Island.
